A woman has been scarred for life after she was glassed during disorder at a pub in Willenhall.

West Midlands Police released graphic pictures of the woman’s injuries along with CCTV images of thugs they are hunting.

A force spokesperson said: “It’s understood a fight broke out between rival fans and beer glasses were thrown across the pub.

“Unfortunately the woman – who was not involved in the rivalry – was hit in the face by one of the glasses and sustained significant injuries and permanent scarring.

“She was taken to hospital for treatment but nothing could be done to prevent the permanent damage caused.

“A 21-year-old man also sustained facial injuries during the disorder.”
