A company linked to Todd Boehly, the co-owner of Chelsea FC, donated tens of thousands of pounds to Reform UK this year.

American businessman Boehly is the chief executive and co-founder of Eldridge Industries, and owns a stake in Chelsea alongside billionaire financier Mark Walter.

The latest data published by the Electoral Commission shows that in May, Eldridge Capital Management Services (UK) made a £75,000 donation to Reform UK.

The FT reports that Eldridge Capital Management Services (UK) is ultimately owned by Boehly, who is listed as a former director.

Current directors at the company include Tony Minella, who co-founded investment giant Eldridge with Boehly.

This is not the first time Boehly has made donations to right-wing politicians and parties. In recent years, the billionaire has previously donated huge sums to Donald Trump and Trump-aligned Republican candidates.

The £75,000 donation was part of more than £5.3m donated to Farage’s party in the three months to June this year.

Whilst the second quarter of 2026 didn’t see Reform receive any money from mega donor Christopher Harborne, the party did received a huge £4m from another of its crypto billionaire donors Ben Delo.

The Electoral Commission data showed that once again, Reform’s donations were significantly larger than those of thier political rivals.

The Labour Party received £3.6m in donations in the second quarter, the Conservative Party received £2.8m, and the Liberal Democrats were given £1.4m.

It was also revealed this week by Rupert Lowe that his far-right party Restore Britain had been handed £500,000 by a tech entrepreneur.

By contrast, the Green Party received £115,000 in donations.
