Staggering scale of Reform’s overseas donations has been revealed

Reform UK received a staggering 80% of their party donations from overseas over the last year, dwarfing the figures of Labour and the Conservatives.

Nigel Farage loves to portray Reform as the party of the British people, but one look at where the right-wingers are getting their money from should cast serious doubt on this.

According to analysis of Electoral Commission data carried out by the Independent, 79.41% of donations received by Reform in the 12 months from July 2025 was from donors of companies who were based overseas in the past two years.

To put this into perspective, just 0.15% of Labour’s donations were from people or companies based abroad during the same period, whilst this figure rose to 3.57% for the Conservative Party.

Perhaps the most staggering aspect of this analysis is that it doesn’t include the two donations of £36m Reform received from Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo, as the donations from the two crypto billionaires both fell outside the reporting period.

The period does include donations of £8m and £15m from Delo and Harborne respectively.

Reacting to the figures, Labour Party chair Bridget Phillipson asked: “Who is bankrolling Nigel Farage’s party?”

In a post on X, she continued: “What interests are they seeking to advance? Are they acting in Britain’s best interests?

“Reform UK are engulfed in sleaze and scandal. Labour will protect our democracy from foreign influence.”

During an appearance on Radio 4’s Today programme, Farage was asked about the figures by Nick Robinson.

Farage initially claimed the numbers were “completely wrong” before being corrected by Robinson, who asked the Reform leader: “Why are you so dominated by people who choose not to live in this country, when you insist you’re patriots?”

Unsurprisingly, Farage floundered through an answer.

Robinson put it to the Clacton MP that plenty of people would be “puzzled about why a party that says it’s patriotic is so dependent on foreign-based money.”
