Opening statement in Brexit debate leaves no doubt over how it’s going

MPs convened to discuss the UK’s split with the European Union in Westminster Hall today (24th April).

The debate was green-lighted after a petition calling for the Government to hold a Public Inquiry into the impact of the split reached 180,000 signatures.

Kicking off procedures, SNP MP Martin Day gave a full and thorough analysis of the adverse effects seen so far.
