Keir Starmer called out for ‘blatant scapegoating’ as Angela Rayner SACKED as party chair

Angela Rayner has reportedly been sacked as chair of the Labour Party following a humbling string of local election results.

Patrick Maguire, a reporter for The Times, has claimed that a Labour party source had confirmed Ms Rayner has been removed.

Responding to the announcement Momentum’s co-chair, Gaya Sriskanthan said the sacking equated to “blatant scapegoating”.

It comes after the Labour leader said he would take “full responsibility” for the results.
