Emily Maitlis and Marjorie Taylor Greene reunited for the first time since the US politician told the journalist to “f*** off” in a heated interview.
The pair appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored show on Wednesday (4 November) to discuss the results of the US midterm elections.
This was the first time they had come face to face since March 2024, when the Republican told Maitlis to “f*** off” in an interview about conspiracy theories.
In an encounter at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, Maitlis questioned Greene about her love of conspiracy theories, and in particular a 2018 Facebook post in which Greene speculated that lasers controlled by a left-wing cabal tied to a powerful Jewish family could have been responsible for sparking California wildfires.
In an exchange that went viral online, Greene ended the conversation by responding “really why don’t you f*** off, how about that”.
During their appearance on Morgan’s show this week, the presenter reminded them both of the clip.
Morgan asked them how they felt about each other, with Greene saying she stood by everything she told Maitlis at the time.

Since that interview, Greene has gone from being an ultra Trump supporter to an outspoken critic of the president and his MAGA movement, particularly in regards to the administration’s handling of the Epstein files.
After criticising Trump’s presidency and what he had turned the Republican party into, Greene said it was time for GOP to recognise why people had rejected them at this year’s midterms.
In response, Maitlis praised Greene for the way she had stood up to Trump over the Epstein files, saying her admiration for the politician has “only increased.”
“You called out a bully before many of your own party did, and what you did over the Epstein files was absolutely the right move,” she said.
But, referencing Greene’s claim she stands by what she told Maitlis in 2024, the journalist added: “I’m so happy to hear from you that your views on Jewish space lasers haven’t changed!”
