The UK has the greatest number of citizens living abroad out of all EU member states, according to new data.

While Prime Minister Theresa May travels to Eastern Europe to tell countries the UK wants to reduce migration and does not want free movement to continue as it has in the past, the latest data shows we may have misjudged the situation.

But not only do EU citizens account for just under half of all non-British immigrants to the UK, new figures have revealed the UK has the greatest number of citizens living abroad!

According to the UN Population Division 4.9 million UK citizens are living in other countries, compared to just 1.3 million Spaniards and 0.3 million Swedes!

Journalism in Britain is under threat. The government is becoming increasingly authoritarian and our media is run by a handful of billionaires, most of whom reside overseas and all of them have strong political allegiances and financial motivations.

Our mission is to hold the powerful to account. It is vital that free media is allowed to exist to expose hypocrisy, corruption, wrongdoing and abuse of power. But we can't do it without you.
