Massive scaffolding construction toppled over onto busy London street outside one of capital’s main hospitals

A massive scaffolding construction has toppled over onto a busy London street – yards from one of the capital’s main hospitals.

The four-storey scaffolding construction crashed onto the busy street outside the Royal Free Hospital in Hampsted, north London just before 3pm.

Eyewitnesses claim there were several people injured, but a Scotland Yard spokesperson said none had been reported to them.

The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade were also in attendance at the scene.
