Reactions: Johnson missed Covid meetings ‘to write Shakespeare biography funding divorce’

Twitter users have reacted to the reason why Boris Johnson allegedly missed key coronavirus crisis meetings.

According to The Sunday Times, the government is worried Dominic Cummings will reveal the prime minister skipped the discussions because he was working on a biography of Shakespeare.

What’s more, Johnson was reportedly going to use the money from the biography to fund his divorce.

It comes as Dominic Cummings has launched a renewed Twitter tirade in which he repeated claims the government had planned to let coronavirus spread through the country to build “herd immunity”, despite being denied by Government.

In his latest tweets, Mr Cummings wrote: “Herd immunity wasn’t ‘a secret strategy’, it was THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC EXPLAINED ON TV/RADIO STRATEGY!”
