The offences are said to have taken place between August 2012 and July 2015, relate to the removal of a client's ear and nipple and splitting the customer's tongue. He was granted bail until his next appearance at Wolverhampton Crown Court on March 3.
Part of his bail conditions are not to contact Mr Lott and not to carry out procedures that involve removing body parts.
Chairman of the bench Colin Herbert said: “We have listened to what has been said regarding bail conditions.
“These conditions are going to be put in place.
“You must not carry out the removal of body parts or contact the named persons.”
Prosecutor Alka Brigue told the court: “He is already a registered tattooist with the local council and I suppose you can call what he does surgery.
“This case could be regarded to be a test case but at the same time we have an argument that surgical procedures have not been followed so unlawful acts have been committed.”
