And it looks bang average.

Harrods is the epicentre of luxury in England and its legendary food hall is no different however their latest steak sandwich is leaving a bitter taste in some people’s mouths.

While prices in England seem to getting higher on the daily basis (remember when meal deals for £3?) many believe Harrods are really taking the biscuit with their latest sarnies which come at the huge price of £28.

Then again, it is Wagyu beef with porcini, truffle butter, and mustard mayo, but still people are raging.

Taking to TikTok, one person wrote: £28 sandwich anyone?”

But let’s remind ourselves, Wagyu can cost as much as £160 per pound while truffle is one of the most expensive ingredients in the world. What can you expect?

The wagyu sandwich is available at Harrods alongside Waygu Katso Sandos which measure just four by three inches and contain tiny pieces of deep fried Wagyu ribeye with mushroom ketchup, BBC sauce, and shredded white cabbage.

Of course, this is sandwiched between two slices of bread and comes at the same price of £28.
