Ian Hyland is a Geography Lecturer who is based in Cornwall. He specialises in human geography with a particular interest in geo-politics, superpowers/globalisation, diversity and health & human rights. Ian also runs annual international trips to Canada and eSwatini (Swaziland) for his students. As part of the trip to eSwatini he helps to run a charity whose aim is to help vulnerable children in the rural community of Shewula gain access to education. He enjoys following and playing sport and attends local non-league football games when possible.
