As the Donald Trump roller-coaster campaign graces a post-referendum UK with its presence, we should take the opportunity to reflect on where politics is heading here in Britain.
This referendum has shown nationalism in its ugliest forms and reminds us that the contemptible campaign of fear by the Donald is not nearly as far from home as some of us are comfortable with.
