There were amazing scenes as Liverpool fans greet team bus yesterday ahead their Europe League match against Villarreal, after the came back from 1-0 down in the first leg to win 3-1 on aggregate. And packed Anfield road to welcome the team coach.
They will play Sevilla in the final at FC Basel’s Stadium, which only holds 38,000, but it is thought 100,000 Liverpool fans might make he trip across regardless.
Manager Jurgen Klopp said: “When you perform like we did the you want to have it all and that is what we will try. A lot of team want to go to finals, it is not too easy, but it is a real opportunity and we will take the opportunity.”
