The former shadow chancellor accused Sir Keir Starmer of allowing a "right-wing faction drunk on power" to destroy the Labour left.
"They're as keen on Brexit as Johnson, Sunak and the other Brexiters in the Tory party ever were", Brendan Donnelly said.
Labour blocked the former Kensington MP Emma Dent Coad from the longlist to fight the seat at the next election.
There were some less than impressed reactions in the chamber.
