Right wing activist banned from Uber for “non-Muslim cab drivers” tweet

Right wing activist Laura Loomer has been banned from Uber after she tweeted about her inability to find a car driven by a “non Muslim.”

The former Project Veritas operative tweeted that she was late to a New York Police Department press conference on the recent terror attack because she was unable to find an Uber that was not driven by someone who did not look like they were Muslim.

According to news sources her comments then escalated to asking for the creation of a non-Islamic form of Uber because she “never wants to support another Islamic immigrant driver.”

Uber has since banned the outspoken activist from the app, according to Business Insider.

Ride sharing app Lyft also deactivated Loomer’s account following the tweets.
