New Top Gear lineup revealed

The new Top Gear lineup has just been revealed on Chris Evan’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show

It’s seven heaven as the new Top Gear lineup has been announced. Chris Evans and the team have broken the mould from the traditional threesome and have employed a diverse and extensive mega-team to replace the outgoing cast.

Here’s the full lineup, from left to right:

Rory Reid. Rory is a motoring journalist and was selected as a Top Gear host through Chris Evan’s open online auditions for a member of the public to join the show.  Rory also has a Youtube motoring channel.

Sabine Schmitz – is a German professional motor racing driver for BMW and Porsche, also known for driving the BMW “Ring taxi” around the Nürburgring race track.  Sabine is already a television personality and co-hosted German motor show D-Motor.

Matt LeBlanc’s – the much loved Friend’s actor’s appointment marks the first time the show has ever had a non-British host in its 39-year history. Will he bring the same charm and lovability to the show?

Chris Evans – motor mouthpiece and brainchild of the new concept.  A lot rests on his shoulders, but his enthusiasm and love for cars should shine through.

Chris Harris – Former Autocar journalist and YouTube star who hosts his own, free (for now), Youtube channel.  Chris has almost 350,000 Youtube subscribers.  Watch that figure rocket!

Eddie Jordan – his bonkers wardrobe, huge connections in the world of motor sport, and quirky personality.

Last but not least…   The Stig!
