Laurence Fox left fuming after he becomes the butt of the joke on HIGNFY

Laurence Fox has expressed anguish after he was on the receiving end of a brutal ribbing on Have I Got News For You.

The actor was recently given the heave-ho from GB News following misogynistic comments he made in relation to a female journalist.

Both he and Dan Wootton, the show’s host, have been asked not to return to the channel, along with their colleague Calvin Robinson.

The contentious issue was raised on comedy quiz show HIGNFY, where Carol Vorderman was asked if she’d “s***” Laurence Fox.

Vorderman proceeded to pull a disgusted look on her face before shaking her head and saying “urgh”.

Coren Mitchell then quipped: “You see, I think I probably would but…”

With Vorderman then exclaiming: “Victoria!”

Coren Mitchell ended the exchange by joking: “Call me Gen X, a difference of opinion is no bar.”

Reacting to the clip on social media, Fox appeared less than pleased about the joke, suggesting ‘his side’ get punished for saying things but the other side doesn’t.

The free speech mob, eh! Such snowflakes.
