Men – what is the best style of coat for your body shape?

There is a lot of talk around body shapes and which style of coat, dress, trouser, suits your physique; particularly if you’re a woman, but men are often forgotten. With the colder seasons right around the corner, Superdry has created this graphic to help men get the right jacket/coat for their body shape.

Particularly if you’ve booked an Autumn/Winter trip away, packing your bag perfectly for the colder weather is something that you should always get right first time round, so here is a checklist of everything you will need for the colder weather:

  • Suitable jacket
  • Scarf
  • Fleece lined gloves
  • Comfortable beanie hat
  • Thermal socks
  • Basic t-shirts for layering
  • Long-johns as a base layer!
  • Ear-muffs
  • Comfortable boots

The infographic serves as a useful tool to ensuring you’re showing off the best parts of your body, as well as keeping up-to-date with the season’s best coat styles!

Here are three of the best cold weather breaks for you to put your coat or jacket to good use!

New York: Particularly around Christmas time, the crisp cold air and gorgeous decorations and lights twinkle so bright, it will be sure to get you in the mood for the festive season. As cold as it will be, don’t forget to visit the 70ft Christmas tree in Midtown and experience the view from The Empire State building where you can see for miles.

Berlin: Frozen over lakes, independent cafes, bars and museums have a life of their own for you to enjoy in this city with so much history. Don’t forget to visit the Christmas markets, although in the middle of Winter, temperatures can plummet in the minuses, so be sure to get as many layers in your suitcase as possible, although the mass amounts of gluhwein should keep you toasty for hours!

Amsterdam: Indulge in the beautiful architecture, and canals. Have a waffle smothered in Nutella with a hot chocolate, or take refuge in one of the independent cafes in the back streets. Temperatures drop down in minuses in the city, so be sure to pick a comfortable coat as well as hat and scarf that can be worn on a bicycle – the only way to travel around!
