WIN a Meal at the Graffigna London Steak Awards 2016 Winner MASH

To celebrate the recent announcement of MASH as the London Steak Awards 2016 winner, Graffigna is offering one lucky reader the chance to dine at the winning restaurant. Five runners up will receive a bottle of Graffigna Centenario Malbec and a Graffigna steak chopping board.

This summer an expert panel of judges visited the four top steak venues that made it to a shortlist following a public vote: MASH, Hawksmoor, Goodman and Gaucho. The lucky judges, including chef Neil Rankin, enjoyed tasting a variety of cuts at each establishment alongside the ideal accompaniment to steak, Graffigna’s Argentinian Malbec. As with the inaugural awards in 2015 the scores were close and saw MASH on Brewer Street take the crown, followed by top restaurant group Goodman in second place, 2015 winner Hawksmoor in third and Gaucho in fourth.

At the recent Gran Asado event at Dinerama in Shoreditch, which we attended, MASH were presented with their award, read about that here: http://www.thelondoneconomic.com/food-drink/why-we-all-should-take-note-of-asado-cooking/30/08/.

MASH, on Brewer Street in Soho, serves up steaks from around the world, including South America, Japan, the US, Denmark and Scotland. The winner of the meal at MASH will be treated to a three course meal accompanied by a bottle of Graffigna Centenario Malbec. Judges described their meal there as “perfection” with another saying “you’ll be hard-pressed to find better steaks than their Danish ribeye and Kobe Wagyu”.
