Y Not Festival has announced its stage splits and new acts for this summer’s event, which is taking place in a bigger and better venue.
Headliners The Libertines, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Jamiroquai will be joined by latest additions The Wombats, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Razorlight, Mallory Knox, Fickle Friends, Marika Hackman and more.
The festival, which takes place in Pikehall, Derbyshire from July 26-29, was forced to close on its second day last year after horrific weather left the site uninhabitable.
Fuming fans slammed organisers on social media, claiming they had failed to prepare for British weather.
But the festival is moving to Aston Hill Farm, adjacent to the previous site on Mouldridge Lane, with clearer routes for festival-goers and improved access for service vehicles.
In addition to the site change, Y Not are also improving staffing and security in a bid to make this their best year yet.
Festival organiser Simon Mawbey said: “We’re so happy to be back with our biggest line up to date.
“There are a lot of changes and improvements being made to make sure the festival is the best it’s ever been in 13 years and I’m excited that we can come back stronger than ever.”
