For some it’s their first foray into fashion-territory, seeing their music icon express themselves like only a pop star could, in the most bizarre outfits imaginable. But these are the images that shape our youth and stay with us long into adulthood; that’s why the guys at fashion start-up STYLIGHT have taken the time to compile the ultimate list of the top music fashion icons from the past five decades.
The countdown ranges from ABBA’s bizarre creations in the 1970s, to mid-90s pop giants the Spice Girls, all the way to perhaps the most daring of all, Lady Gaga. Whilst many of the outfits these divas wear may not be everyone’s cup of tea, they are undeniably iconic, and for that we raise a glass to them!
