Police hunt for missing girl aged nine

Police are desperately searching for a schoolgirl aged nine-years-old who has gone missing from near a town centre.

Officers have launched an urgent hunt for Anita-May Davidson who was last seen walking along Main Road, in Brereton, Staffordhire, at 9.15 am this morning (Wednesday, June 20).

The youngster is described as white, 4ft 4ins tall, and of slim build. She has blue eyes, and long blonde hair which is tied in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, burgundy cardigan, grey trousers and black shoes.

Staffordshire Police believe she may he heading to nearby Rugeley town centre – which is around a mile away from where he disappeared.

Anyone who has seen Anita-May or have information as to her whereabouts is asked to call police on 101, referring to incident 191 of 20 June.
