‘Gay lights activist’: Laurence Fox loses his head after discovering Pride traffic lights in London

Hundreds of people have reacted to Laurence Fox kicking up a fuss about a green traffic light showing a lesbian couple.

One user noted Fox should have known the traffic light “has been up in Trafalgar Square for years”. It comes as Fox lost the London Mayor elections last month – and his £10,000 deposit.

Reactions

Fred Delicious reacted sarcastically to Fox telling the traffic lights to f*** off: “Hi, it’s me, a 43-year-old man who is mad at a traffic light, to the point I’m not even crossing the road, despite needing to cross it, such is my rage”.

And Joe Godwin called the failed politician a “gay lights activist”.

Another user said: “ ‘The woke left are Britain-hating snowflakes offended by everything.’

“In other news, here’s Laurence Fox swearing at a British pedestrian crossing.”

And Willy Eckerslike said: “Laurence, you’re shouting at traffic lights.”

Harry said he doesn’t understand Fox’s “frustration with Pret A Manger”, while another user said, “I know right, I can’t believe it, ANOTHER f****** Pret”.

Some harsher comments were made about the post as well.

“If you’re that upset about the green lesbian traffic light, please feel free to walk when the red light is lit instead,” Max Bell advised Fox.

And Amy added: “Laurence realised he wasn’t interesting enough on his own merit, so had to resort to becoming a detested bigot offended by absolutely everything in the world just to get some attention.

“What a sad little life Jane.”

“Legend has it he’s still stuck at this crossing to this day”, another Twitter user concluded.

Shouting at TV show

Earlier this month, Fox hit out at TV show Anne Boleyn, labelling the diversity agenda as “racism”.

He tweeted: “Anne Boleyn was a straight white female.

“Stick that in your diversity pipe. The diversity agenda is racism. Pure and simple.”

He added: “For the record, I think any actor of any sexual orientation, skin colour or body difference can play any character. Hence why it’s called ‘acting’. But it has to be consistent, otherwise it’s just discrimination.”

“Only trans actors can play trans characters. Only gay actors should play gay characters. Actors apologising for playing limb different characters. (Anne Boleyn had six fingers on her right hand). But black actors can play white limb different characters.”
