M Threadneedle Street launches further menu for NOT FOR SALE charity

M Threadneedle Street has continued its commitment to the NOT FOR SALE charity (www.notforsalecampaign.org) with an enticing  Peruvian pop-up menu.  This M IS NOT FOR SALE dining experience will welcome just 20 diners per day throughout November and all profits from the pop-up will go to global charity NOT FOR SALE – whose mission is to end human trafficking and modern-day slavery.  This is part of M’s mission to raise £1million for the cause.

NOT FOR SALE states that it has supported over 352,000 people over the last sixteen years, across 12 countries, each of whom was at risk of human trafficking. They point out that much of what we consume — clothing, the batteries in our cell phones, the fish we eat — has forced labour and exploitation hidden somewhere inside its production, with big repercussions on local communities around the world, and the environment. Not For Sale envisions and fights for a future without exploitation and forced labour. A world where no one is for sale.

The special four course menu from M’s Culinary Director and judge of Channel 4’s Five Star Kitchen, Chef Mike Reid, features dishes such as arepa flatbreads with ‘mojo rojo’ butter followed by a monkfish ceviche before the main event: the lomo saltado with Ethical Butcher sirloin steak, and the infamous 15-hour wagyu cooked potato.

The M Is Not For Sale Experience will run throughout November and is priced at £65 per person including four courses and one glass of champagne. To book a place, visit: https://mrestaurants.co.uk/events-news/m-is-not-for-sale-pop-up/
