Preview: Slamboree Halloween Extravaganza Coming To London and Manchester

When you’re a kid, Halloween is a time for wrapping yourself head to toe in toilet paper, necking a bag of Haribo and wrecking your facepaint bobbing for apples.

As an adult, All Hallow’s Eve is all of these things plus a cauldron a smokey spirits, fishnets and more than one clever chap dressed as a used tampon. Scary indeed.

If your fancy dress game is particularly strong this year or you’re just not keen on having your house smashed up by strangers dressed as the Baseball Furies, this year’s Slamboree is going to be Halloween’s hot ticket.

Described as a pyro circus dub rave extravaganza, Slamboree is coming to Manchester’s Ritz on 29th and London’s The Forum on 30th October. Combining electronic music with live instruments, visuals and theatrical performers this collective of performers push the energy of a live show one step further.

The show is brought together by the synths and electronic beats of award-winning producer Mike Freear, with special appearances from Too Many T’s, Age of Glass, Captain Hotknives and Wolfie Razzamatazz.

If this looks like the kind of hoop-spinning, flame-spitting, trumpeting and be-tasseled event your Halloween needs you can find tickets at the Slamboree website.
