Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid both resigned their positions following embarrassing revelations about the Chris Pincher affair.
Sunak said the public "rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously" in his resignation note.
“There’s a real concern amongst staff, Members of Parliament here, about a culture within Westminster that protects abusers, that doesn’t encourage victims to come forward."
The prime minister's sister said she was also sprayed with wine at Wimbledon, but there was a shortage of sympathy on Twitter.
"The next time a Tory MP says people born abroad should be deported after committing a crime, ask them whether this would also apply to their leader", Bell Ribeiro-Addy said.
"You said we all have to dig deep to beat Putin... you wanted a £150,000 tree house.... how is that digging deep?"
It comes as Russia was forced to pull back its forces from the strategically placed Snake Island in a humiliating blow.
The prime minister was forced to abandon the idea after the police raised security concerns.
