Woolwich: Perspective

Last year, 1.8 million people donated blood selflessly to protect the lives of others, but it took opening this blog and reading the first line to find that out. Conversely, if I was to say a soldier was brutally murdered on the streets of Woolwich this week by two men, you would be fully aware. In these moments, as we struggle to digest the inhumanity of a minority, it takes perspective to realise that one act could never be all encompassing.
