BNP send Jeremy Corbyn a racist Christmas card featuring Diane Abbott

The BNP have sent Jeremy Corbyn a racist Christmas card saying “STOP LABOUR STEALING OUR WHITE CHRISTMAS” with a photo of the shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott dressed as Santa Claus taking a Christmas tree.

Clive Lewis MP tweeted: “Just spoke to Hackney Abbott about this racist BNP Xmas card Jeremy Corbyn has just received. I’m not keen on sharing racist propaganda but I think it’s important folk see the kind of hate Diane is subjected to for doing nothing more than standing up for her beliefs #solidarity”

Diane Abbott received almost half of all abusive tweets sent to female MPs in the run-up to the general election, research by Amnesty International revealed. And the Hackney MP has been outspoken about the sickening abuse her and her team have had to encounter.

“I’ve had death threats, I’ve had people tweeting that I should be hung if”they could find a tree big enough to take the fat bitch’s weight’… I’ve had rape threats…and n*gger, over and over and over again” – Diane Abbott’s testified to a parliamentary debate about intimidation against members of parliament this summer.

“I was appalled by this disgusting racist Christmas card sent to Jeremy by the BNP. This is the type of vile racist abuse aimed at my colleague and friend Diane Abbott on a daily basis, l will always stand in solidarity with her. I am sorry for showing this but l wanted you to see the type of horrible abuse she gets on a daily basis, we must stand against this awful stuff,” said fellow Labour MP Angela Rayner.

Media ignores Diane Abbott’s racist abuse from trolls. Until she describes what they say on TV. Then they go nuts when she quotes the abuse.

  1. My misses who is Polish asked me the other day was it racist to send a Christmas card with the words “wishing you a white Christmas” . My answer no it is not and why should it be. Let’s face it when I was a child before all this pc leftist liberal bull people wished for a white Christmas. The true agenda nowadays is to turn even the most innocent comment in to a racist rant. This is why people are becoming more and more anti pc it’s them who need the book throwing at them for trying to force there sad little agenda onto people.

Written by somebody who misses the point entirely. It is racist because of the context, not the content. It is racist because of the intent. You may think it’s anti-PC to support Nazis, but I take exception to your brand of misbegotten racist cheerleading. You just miss being able to be openly racist without being called on it. You should crawl back to the 70’s on your knuckles where you belong.

  2. Let’s face it the racist overtone is unpleasant but this woman is useless and I am ashamed our country has politicians with this apparent lack of intelligence and appeal. She’s not capable. She is in fact a joke which is what you’re seeing here. God help us if her party gains power.

Diane Abbott works extremely hard and is far from useless. What I find depressing are the number of complete and utter blockheads who make their ugly presence felt on threads like this. I am ashamed our country has people in it who hold such ignorant and bigoted opinions. Never mind, it takes all sorts to make a world!
